El Paso, Texas – CultureSpan Marketing is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Matthews to President and Chief Creative Officer of the El Paso-based marketing and advertising firm.
Matthews’ 15-year career span with the agency began in 2005 with an internship upon graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Production and Media Advertising. It’s during this time that he developed the foundation upon which he would establish his experience and knowledge of skills pertaining to industry-related creative services. This includes writing, producing and directing a multitude of broadcast projects over the years.

As he assumes this important leadership role, he will take on the task of fueling the continuation of CultureSpan’s growth and reputation in the region,” said Nancy Laster, founder and CEO of the agency.
In 2013, Matthews was promoted to Creative Director to help lead creative strategy and development of client campaigns within the agency’s creative departments. Six years later in 2019 he advanced to Vice President of Creative Services at the agency, a position that would include elevating the firm’s creative energy and client services to new levels.
As President of CultureSpan, he will oversee all departments within the agency with a focus on creative and marketing strategy while pursuing opportunities for new business development.
